An extensive 4 hour workshop from 1pm to 5pm
Prerequisite;
You can attend this session even if you missed session 1 (However session 1 is highly recommended so you know what to buy and what not to buy.)
We will help you with setting up your camera but you have to know; how to set your camera on manual and how to change aperture, shutter-speed, ISO and white balance.
This is not a workshop for beginners!
Objective;
Learn how to make reproducible photo’s with your off camera flash like a pro!
How?
If you attended the first session this is your follow up with all the details to use your off camera flash equipment. Everything will be explained in great detail. You need to bring your camera and manual flashes AND the instruction manuals of both of them. Also bring stuff you want to show us (Off camera flash equipment) like pocket-wizards, light meters etcetera. The last part of the session is a practice shoot with a model to see how it works and experience it yourself.
This is NOT about the automatic mode’s like i-TTL, e-TTL or CLS we will shoot some practice photo’s with the triggers I will supply, these are totally manual so there will be no cheating. I will NOT show and talk about a lot of equipment but will take some samples you bring. This is NOT about studio flashes but about strobes like Vivitar 283/285, Canon 430EX or Nikon SB 26 or better flashes as long as they are capable of manual flash and have a decent flash power.
A brief content of this class;

Conclusion and evaluation
What the shoot is about;
After the theory we will set up a photo-shoot from scratch starting with just one flash and build it out to 4 or 5 flashes, right in front of your eyes. Everyone will participate in this shoot as photographer , assistant and creative designer. We will use gels in a creative way and props as seen fit.
There will be a model available and we are shooting in the studio.
The practice shoot involves your camera and/or flash to practice settings. Please bring your camera, flashes and their manuals. (camera need to have a hotshoe)
I will have multiple flashes to use and setup with including light-stands, light modifiers and triggers. This workshop will cover all the knowledge you need to get started with off camera flash. This knowledge you will gain is also handy if you like to do a studio shoot as the same principles are valid in the studio with studio flashes, the only difference is that you have more power available and a model light.
At the end of the workshop I want you to go home with all the needed information and your own photo’s with off camera flash that can be reproduced by you with the knowledge you gained.
